L'Oreal Infallible 24 HR Eye Shadow

Hey guys!
I want to start off by saying that I've been AWOL due to so much studying for finals but SCHOOL IS FINALLY OVER! :-)

Anyways, since school has taken over my life for the past couple of days, I haven't really put on much makeup (I just didn’t have the time to) but I have used been using the L’Oreal Infallible 24 HR Eye Shadow in “Amber Rush”.

I had this for quite some time now and for some reason it didn't catch my eyes now and I cannot stop using it! Its a shimmery pinkish amber creamy color that does not crease at all and that it can either be worn by itself or it can become the base to the eye makeup.

I've been using it alot lately because its also a nice spring color. Just dab a little on my eyes with my finger and blend it across my lid with a blending brush. It looks really natural and just enough color to my face. What i also like about it that it complements my skin. I have lightish tan skin and light brown eyes and this product makes them pop more.

Blush: Maybelline Fit Me Blush in "Deep Rose"
Foundation: Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation in shade "150 Nude"
Mascara: Clinique High Impact Mascara
Overall its a good eyeshadow to keep; can either be used in the day time or evening. Its roughly about $8 and can be bought at any drug store or supermarket store.

Do you like L'Oreal? What other products should I try from their brand? Comment below and hope you guys have a lovely day!

Tips on Controlling Oily Skin

Hellllllo again! hope you all are well. Anyways, today I wanted to talk about controlling oily skin. I have really oily skin and sometimes it frustrates that I cannot wear anything on my face because - a) I live in Florida where its humid all year long; and b) its just the type of skin I have. So after following these helpful tips I’ve received over the time I thought I’d share them with you wonderful people :)

The first step is to find a good daily face scrub. Anything that can control the oil in your face throughout the day. Good ones to look for are brands that promote like an acne wash because acne is most likely to be caused by the oil in your face. I’ve been using Neutrogena’s Oil-Free Acne Wash with Microclear Technology for about 2 months now and I honestly will never leave it. Clean & Clear and other brands like that have good scrubs as well but I personally like this one a lot. I used to use this scrub twice a day, but then it became very irritating so now I just use it only in the mornings.
The second step is to get a moisturizer that is oil free! I’ve spent most of high school time using these moisturizers that just made my face feel so heavy and greasy. So I went into Sephora one day and I asked the sales associate if they had any face moisturizers that helps control skin and she showed me the Boscia Oil-Free Daily Hydration moisturizer. It even has SPF 15 & A PUMP! I tried it on and it doesn't even feel like I have any moisturizer at all! Its amazing! Though its a little bit pricey its worth it.

The last step is staying hydrated. I cannot stress enough how much drinking water throughout your day helps. Its so important to keep hydrated because you’ll feel great and it will show in your skin as well. If your on the go just pop a small water bottle in your purse and drink up! At a restaurant, skip the Ice Tea and have some water. It will honestly make a difference on your skin.

I hope these tips were useful to you guys! If you guys think about other products that I should try or so just let me know!
